unscripted TV series
Outdoorsy
written & directed by Amelia Bartlett
Explore Appalachia’s hometowns through their outdoor playspaces and the communities that support them.
This is a show for folks with little interest in backwoods bushwhacking but who still crave inspiration to find fun outside.
We focus on organizations, businesses, and places that:
Conserve, protect, and make accessible local outdoor play spaces
Provide guidance, instruction, and materials for low-key adventure-seekers
Draw the local community and tourists alike into the great outdoors of Southern Appalachia
Each episode of Outdoorsy will be filmed entirely on location in a tax-friendly state with a small crew over 2 - 3 days.
Locations will consist of local businesses, city-owned outdoor spaces, and nonprofit organizations, minimizing location costs while maximizing community affiliation.
